UPDATES TO THE LAS VEGAS MARATHON COURSE
The Las Vegas Marathon is here to announce that on October 26, 2025, it will feature an updated course for this year's edition.
Following a year of extensive conversations with the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, and local stakeholders, we are introducing this one-year course update exclusively for 2025. The goal of making adaptations to the course is to provide a safe, well-executed race experience that limits road impacts.
The new route offers runners a fast, scenic, downhill experience. It will take participants from the forests of Kyle Canyon on Mt. Charleston down into the Las Vegas Valley, with breathtaking views of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. Athletes chasing personal bests and Boston Qualifying times will enjoy the smooth downhill slope. You can view the updated course HERE.
Participants should note that bus transportation to the start lines for the new course will still depart from downtown as originally planned. Those staying in the downtown area will remain conveniently close to the bus loading zone. Shuttles from the finish area back to downtown will be offered following the race.
If a runner desires to change their race plans due to this adaptation, we are able to offer deferment credit equal to the amount they paid for their Las Vegas Marathon registration. This deferment credit can be applied to any other Brooksee-produced event, including the Phoenix Marathon, Mesa Marathon, Portland Marathon, and REVEL Race Series.
If you would no longer like to participate in the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon, please redeem your race credit HERE.
While this year’s race will not showcase the iconic urban landscapes of Las Vegas, we are grateful to the City for its partnership and flexibility in helping us deliver a safe and exceptional marathon experience, and look forward to launching a new downtown experience in future editions.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to navigate this update.
