Consistent and Dominant M45-49 Performance Chris Jones ran an impressive pace throughout the 2025 UW Medicine Seattle Half Marathon, maintaining a strong average pace of 5:35 min/mile. His dedication in the Male 45-49 division paid off, as he consistently held the top spot across all splits. Notably, Chris completed the first mile in 5:15, which set the tone for his overall performance. The times remained steady across most segments, even showing resilience during the longer stretches with no drastic decline, ending the race in 1:13:12. Chris secured 10th place overall and was the first in his division out of 5861 total participants. While there is a slight increase in split times, particularly noticeable in the later miles where splits extend to over 5:47, this is a minor detail in an otherwise strong run. Consistently revisiting pacing strategies for the later miles could help maintain those early mile efficiencies throughout the entire race.
