Consistent Performance Secures Top Division Finish Gabriel Gunnink demonstrated impressive consistency in the 2025 UW Medicine Seattle Half Marathon, maintaining a steady pace throughout the race. He completed the 13.1-mile course in 1:10:31, averaging a strong 5:23 min/mile pace. Notably, Gabriel consistently led the M35-39 division, finishing in first place. He started the race at a brisk 5:12 min/mile for the first mile but settled into a rhythm between 5:15 and 5:26 for most splits. His effort secured a top 5 finish overall out of 5861 participants. Mile splits showed Gabriel's strategic approach, with some minor variations. The 11th mile slightly decreased his pace to 6:02 min/mile, but he quickly regained momentum to finish overall strong. Throughout the race, Gabriel's ability to capitalize on consistent pacing and his performance in the final stretch are commendable.
