Consistent Performance and Improved Pace Mutian Gao showcased remarkable consistency and pace in the 2025 UW Medicine Seattle Half Marathon. Achieving an overall time of 1:14:49, Mutian maintained an impressive average pace of 5:42 min/mile. Notably, his first mile was completed in 5:25, setting a strong start. Despite slight fluctuations throughout the race, he sustained a strong pace, as demonstrated in the middle miles with paces ranging from 5:30 to 5:36 min/mile. This consistency contributed to him securing 3rd place in his division for males aged 15-19. Compared to the previous years race, Mutian improved his overall time by 2 minutes and 30 seconds. This improvement indicates an enhanced endurance and speed, as shown by his overall better pace per mile compared to last year's 5:54 min/mile.
