| Description: | Run the Clear Creek Half Marathon, a picturesque course with a 1300 ft decent. Top of the canyon is 7000 ft to 5612 ft at the finish. This scenic run begins 30 miles south of Richfield, off of I-70 at exit 7. Runners will start at the top of Clear Creek Canyon running beside a beautiful creek and through steep canyon cliffs. Runners will continue past the Fremont Indian park and its 14 points of interest from newspaper rock, cave of 100 hands, Indian blanket, and the sheep shelter cave, to name a few. |
