Steady Performance with Competitive Splits Joshua Fitch completed the 2025 Whidbey Island Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 1:33:17 and an overall pace of 7:07 min/mile, placing 19th overall among 612 participants. His pacing was notably consistent, especially from mile 4 to mile 6, where his pace remained precisely at 7:00 min/mile. Throughout the race, Joshua displayed strong early performances, starting with a 6:36 min/mile pace for the first mile. He faced a slight dip in speed in mile 3 with a 7:30 split, but recovered well, finishing the latter half of the race with paces consistently below 7:08 min/mile. The acceleration in the final three miles, clocking times between 6:45 and 6:56, highlighted his strong finish potential. Maintaining rhythm and a tighter control on split fluctuations will serve beneficial for better strategic execution in future races. Excellent job on maintaining a competitive position throughout!
