Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Jamison Koeman executed a remarkable performance at the 2025 Whidbey Island Half Marathon. Maintaining an impressive average pace of 6:47 min/mile over the 13.1 miles, Jamison solidified 11th place overall out of 612 participants and notably secured 2nd in the M25-29 division. Starting off at a 7:00 min/mile pace for the first mile, he showed a slight increase in speed toward the latter part of the race, finishing the final mile with a strong 5:42 min/mile. Throughout the race, Jamison demonstrated consistent pacing with only minor fluctuations. Significant improvement is observed as he sharpened his pace in the latter portion from mile 11 onward. While Jamison maintained a solid pace early on, a focus on evenly spreading his fastest split times throughout the course could contribute to even better outcomes in future races. This race showcased Jamison’s endurance and capacity to push through, yielding a commendable finish.
