Consistent Strong Performance in 10K Race Nathan Owen delivered a compelling performance during the 2025 Whidbey Island 10K. Starting with a first mile at a 7:32 pace, he quickly improved his speed, clocking a remarkable 6:41 for his second mile, the fastest split of his race. He maintained a consistent pace throughout, finishing with an official time of 42:58 and an overall pace of 6:55 min/mile. Nathan demonstrated notable improvement in race pace as the distance increased, a testament to his strategy and endurance. From the second split onward, Nathan effectively maintained his position within the top contenders, ultimately securing 4th place overall and 3rd in his gender category. Amongst his age division, he consistently maintained the lead position from the second mile onward.
