Strong Pacing with a Solid Finish Trevor Perkins demonstrated consistency and endurance throughout the 2025 Whidbey Island Half Marathon. He maintained a solid pace, finishing with a total time of 1:37:18 and an average pace of 7:25 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Notably, Trevor improved his position throughout the race, climbing from an initial 31st place overall to a final overall placement of 24th. His steady progression placed him in the top 4 in the M35-39 division out of 612 participants. His performance remained relatively consistent with a notable pace increase in the last two miles. Particularly impressive was his final mile, clocked at 6:49 min/mile, showcasing a strong finish. An area to consider for future races could be maintaining a consistent pace across all splits, as indicated by a few slower mid-race miles. However, his ability to finish strong highlights his strategic energy conservation and potential for further improvement. Great work, Trevor!
