Consistently Strong Performance Pays Off Eric Carlson delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Whidbey Island 10K, finishing with a time of 45:04 and an average pace of 7:16 min/mile. He secured first place in his M40-44 division. Analyzing his splits reveals a strategic and consistent run. Notably, Eric maintained the top position in his division throughout the race, despite varying split paces ranging from 6:45 to 7:50 min/mile. His pace improved in the latter half, with mile five showing a commendable split of 6:45 min/mile. In a field of 337 participants, Eric ranked 8th overall and 6th among male competitors.
