Her performance stood out within her gender and age group, as she claimed the 1st position for females. Marissa completed each split progressively faster, showcasing her ability to speed up despite the demands of the race. Her final stretch was her fastest segment, clocked at an impressive 5:54 minute per mile pace. Compared to her previous year's performance, Marissa's time slightly increased from 39:47 in the 2024 event, where she achieved 1st place overall.
