Consistent Progress with Strong Finish Team NCHS Army JROTC steadily completed the 2025 Visit Casper Marathon Relay in 4:55:14, covering the 26.2 miles at an overall pace of 11:16 min/mile. Though the middle splits increased, starting from a commendable 10:01 min/mile for the first mile, increments observed include paces up to 14:31 min/mile in both the tenth and eleventh splits. Yet, a striking improvement revitalized their effort, with the last splits ranging between 7:51 min/mile to 11:25 min/mile. Evidently, they showcased admirable resilience in the latter stages of the course. Analysis reveals areas of consistent within-range performance, with overall placement consistently positioned between 6th and 7th across splits. Stability across the first half was well-executed, and a pronounced rally in the final stretch contributed to their solid finish. As the team progresses, focusing on maintaining an even pace throughout could enhance their overall time. Practicing sustainable pace strategies in training will be crucial moving forward.
