Strong Finish with Consistent Pacing Steven Wetzel, from Evansville, Wyoming, finished the 2025 Visit Casper Marathon Half Marathon with an overall time of 1:53:37, achieving an average pace of 8:42 minutes per mile. Impressively, Steven maintained a consistent pace throughout most of the race, starting with an 8:47 min/mile pace and improving significantly around the middle stage with an 8:08 min/mile split between miles 4 and 5. He showed an impressive surge in the second half, particularly holding strong positions - 14th in his gender and 4th in the M30-39 division category. An interesting aspect of Steven's race was the pace improvement during miles 4 to 7. Although his pace slowed slightly at mile 8 with a 10:21 min/mile, he managed to regain his momentum and closed with a strong final mile at 8:16 min/mile. Focusing on maintaining consistent pacing throughout all segments could provide an opportunity for even faster times in future races.
