Consistent Start, Ending with a Steady Pace Nathan began his race with a strong and consistent pace of 9:35 minutes per mile in the first two split miles, maintaining a steady placement of 3rd in his division for the M30-39 age group. His early controlled pacing kept him in 7th overall among male participants. Interestingly, his consistent effort during the initial miles set a solid foundation for the race. As the race progressed, Nathan's pace started to vary slightly, gradually increasing with each mile. He recorded his slowest pace of 11:04 minutes per mile in the final stretch. Despite this, he concluded the 10K course with an overall elapsed time of 1:06:12. Notably, Nathan maintained a solid 4th place in his division. For future races, consider pacing strategies that allow for a more stable pace throughout the race, especially towards the end. Keep up the consistent training for continued improvement.
