Steady Start, Slight Slowdown Felix demonstrated a consistent and strong performance in the first half of the 2025 Visit Casper Marathon. His splits were consistently under 7:36 min/mile from miles 1 to 5. Notably, he maintained his placing, remaining in the top 10 overall and within his division. His fastest split during the race was at mile 4, clocking a strong 7:29 min/mile. However, during the second half, Felix’s pace shifted, starting from 7:56 min/mile at mile 6 and gradually slowing to 9:44 min/mile by mile 26. Despite this slowdown, he finished with an overall pace of 8:28 min/mile, securing 4th in his division. To enhance future performance, focusing on endurance for late-race segments could be beneficial, particularly from mile 20 onwards where his pace noticeably changed. Overall, Felix maintained a commendable mid-race position, reaching the finish with dedication.
