Consistent Early Pace, Steady Finish Nitya Maddodi showcased a strong start at the 2025 Visit Casper Marathon, maintaining a consistent pace through the initial segments. Noteworthy is his performance in the first five miles, where he consistently recorded split paces between 7:28 and 7:38 minutes per mile. His best split pace of 7:28 min/mile was achieved twice, indicating a well-optimized early race strategy. This pattern contributed to an impressive early pace average, providing a solid foundation for the rest of the marathon. In the latter stages, notably after reaching the midway point, there was a noticeable but gradual deceleration. His splits shifted from a pace of 8:05 min/mile toward the 9-minute range, ending with a full marathon pace of 9:01 min/mile. Despite this, Nitya managed to hold a commendable division placement, finishing 5th in M40-49. Focusing on maintaining consistent pacing in the latter half could further enhance future performances.
