Consistent High Performance Across the Race Zane Musgrave maintained a strong and consistent pace throughout the marathon, finishing with an overall time of 2:57:49. He clocked an impressive average pace of 6:47 minutes per mile, securing the 1st place in his division for the M20-29 age category. Notably, Zane held a steady placement, ranking 3rd overall and 3rd in the male category for much of the race. In the early miles, Zane demonstrated excellent control, starting with a 6:06 pace. He showed strength in the middle, with splits like mile 7 at 5:44. Although there was a slight decline in the later miles, with mile 18 clocking a 10:02 split, he regained his rhythm by mile 20, finishing with a 6:21 split over the final mile. Working on maintaining that mid-race pace in the later stages could be beneficial for future races.
