Consistent Performance and Strong Division Finish Jacob Ruble demonstrated impressive early race performance at the 2025 Visit Casper Marathon Half Marathon. Beginning with a solid first mile at 7:02 min/mile, Jacob maintained a strong pace through the next several splits, notably improving his position to 2nd in his gender and 1st in the 0-19 age division between miles 3 and 5. His best split time occurred between miles 3 and 4 with an impressive 6:24 min/mile. The first half of the race showcased his ability to execute a strategic and efficient pace. In the latter stages of the race, Jacob experienced a slight slowdown, finishing with an overall time of 1:36:07 and an average pace of 7:21 min/mile. Although his pace on the last stretch dropped slightly, overall, he sustained a commendable effort. To optimize future performances, focusing on maintaining the pace achieved in earlier miles during the latter stages could yield an even stronger finish.
