Consistent Pace Leads to Divisional Victory Jessica maintained a consistently strong pace throughout the 10K at the 2025 Visit Casper Marathon. Her average elapsed pace was 8:36 min/mile, with individual mile splits varying slightly from 8:27 to 8:49 min/mile. The first and fourth mile splits recorded identical paces of 8:38 min/mile, indicating a steady effort. Impressively, she showed a particular boost in the fourth mile with the fastest split of 8:28 min/mile. Jessica achieved a first-place finish in the F40-49 division. Remarkably, she remained within the top 7 overall from start to finish, ultimately securing 5th place overall and 4th in the female category. There’s a minimal variance in split times, just a 21-second difference between the fastest and slowest miles, which reflects balanced pacing strategy.
