Starting with a quick 6:27 pace, Robert settled into a rhythm with mile splits mainly in the 6:36 to 6:52 range, except the 7:04 in mile 11. Notably, he closed the race with a strong 6:21 pace in the final mile, showing great endurance and determination, which is crucial in enhancing overall performance. In his division of M30-39, Robert placed commendably at 8th, with his determination showing across the splits. His overall elapsed time of 1:27:22 and a consistent average pace of 6:40 per mile are impressive figures for this distance. There is a slight drop in pace during miles 11 and 12, indicating an opportunity for strategic pacing.
