Consistent Performance with Strong Division Finish Jessica Wright, from Christchurch, CAN, competed in the 2025 Seattle Marathon Half Marathon, achieving an overall time of 1:27:00. Her consistent pacing throughout the race resulted in an average pace of 6:38 min/mile. Jessica showed early strength, with her first split at 6:01 min/mile, securing the top spot in her division (F30-39) for the first five miles. She maintained high placement overall and in her gender category, securing 4th in Female gender and 3rd in her age division by the race's conclusion. Even with a slight drop in pace around mile 8, Jessica finished strong with a remarkable 6:10 min/mile for the last mile. As a coach, I'd recommend focusing on maintaining the early mile pacing during the middle and later stages of the race to bring her performance to the next level. Keep up the determination and stamina!
