Consistent Speed with Strong Finish Caleb Ocasio demonstrated impressive consistency throughout the half marathon, maintaining an average pace close to 6:00 min/mile. Starting with a 6:05 min/mile pace, Caleb improved his speed substantially mid-race, especially notable during mile 6 with his pace dropping to 5:50 min/mile. The latter parts of the race showcased his endurance, with mile 11 being his fastest split at an outstanding 5:28 min/mile. He concluded the race with a total time of 1:16:47, achieving a remarkable position, particularly in his division M30-39, where he claimed 1st place. Notably, Caleb advanced his overall position in the latter half of the race, finishing strong as 3rd overall among 1697 participants. For future races, focusing on the consistency seen in the later splits would be advantageous, ensuring even more powerful starts and sustained performance. Excellent job, Caleb!
