Consistent Pace with Dynamic Mid-Race Performance Mapenzi Kinege demonstrated a commendable performance at the 2025 Seattle Marathon, completing the Half Marathon with a total time of 1:20:43 and an average pace of 6:09 minutes per mile. Notably, Mapenzi started strong, clocking a first mile time of 5:57. Despite some fluctuations in split times, with the fastest split at mile four clocked at 5:56 and the slowest at mile 12 with 6:30, Mapenzi consistently maintained a vigorous pace throughout the race. It’s noteworthy that he achieved his best division placement at mile one, securing the 2nd position in the M20-29 division. Throughout the 13.1-mile course, Mapenzi's strategic pacing saw him consistently place within the top of his division, finishing 8th overall out of 1697 participants.
