Consistent Performance with a Strong Start and Finish Nico Jauregui delivered a commendable performance at the 2025 Savannah Southern Half 5K. With an opening mile pace of 5:53 min/mile, Nico set a competitive tone early in the race. His consistency was evident as he maintained a solid pace, recording 6:19 min/mile for the second mile and improving slightly to 6:08 min/mile by the third mile. This showcased not only his stamina but also his ability to adjust and sustain efforts throughout various stages of the race. His overall elapsed time was 19:49 for the 3.25 mile distance, finishing with an impressive average pace of 6:05 min/mile. Nico placed 4th overall and matched this rank in his gender category but achieved 1st place within his division (M30-34). Although his pace slightly decreased after the first mile, his ability to quickly regain and maintain his speed speaks positively of his racing strategy and conditioning.
