From Jenison, MI, Richmond maintained a strong pace throughout, averaging a 5:50 min/mile over the 3.25-mile course. Notably, he achieved a top 3 place in each mile segment, showcasing remarkable consistency and strategic speed management. The splits showed slight variations in pace: 5:37 in the first mile, 5:54 in the second, and a strong finish with 5:52 in the third.
