Consistent Pace Secures Top Division Placement Jude Jones displayed a consistent performance in the 2025 Savannah Southern Half 5K. He completed the race with an elapsed time of 20:51 over a distance of 3.25 miles, achieving an overall pace of 6:25 min/mile. Impressively, he secured 1st place in the M15-19 division among tough competition, demonstrating both skill and discipline in maintaining his paces. Jones started strong with a remarkable 5:58 min/mile split for the first mile, marking a well-measured start. Although his pace slightly decreased to 6:31 min/mile in the second mile and to 6:54 min/mile in the final mile, he effectively managed to remain in the top 10 overall. Finishing 8th overall and 7th among males out of 1177 participants, his performance was commendable. Focusing on maintaining the initial pace throughout could further enhance his race results in future events.
