Consistent Pace Secures Division Top Spot During the 2025 Savannah Southern Half 5K event, Ben Wyns demonstrated strong pacing strategies, maintaining a consistent pace throughout the race. Starting with a swift 5:56 min/mile pace in the first mile, he managed to hold a tight pace, logging 6:12 and 6:14 min/mile for the second and third mile splits, respectively. His overall elapsed pace for the race was an impressive 6:08 min/mile over the 3.25-mile distance. Wyns finished as the top runner in his M40-44 division, securing first place with a total time of 19:59. Maintaining a steady position in the top six male category overall, Ben showed a slight variance in his mile splits, which accounted for only an 18-second drop from his first to third mile split.
