Decisive descent seals women's win and top-10 overall Kristina Mascarenas finished in 4:35:10 over 26.29 miles (10:28 pace), 10th of 918 overall, 1st female and 1st F35-39. She reached the 14,062 ft summit at mile 13.36 in 3:03:57, moving from F6 at 0.43 to F2 by Barr Camp and at the summit, then into the lead early on the descent. Downhill splits: 9:56, 7:28, 7:07, 8:06, 10:26 to Barr Camp - Return, 5:28 to 20.67 miles, 6:16 to Top of W's - Return, 6:04 to Hydro Street - Return, 5:39 to the finish. For gains, focus on the final 2.5 miles of the climb above 12,300 ft where paces were 15:10 to 20:01, and aim to reduce the 10:26 pace at Barr Camp - Return by maintaining momentum through that section.
