Consistent Effort Despite Elevation Challenges Olha Romanova completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon in 6:33:24, maintaining a steady pace throughout the race. At the starting line in Parker, CO, Olha was ranked 1224th overall. Facing an initial climb from 6303 feet, she climbed to Ruxton at 6355 feet in just 4:35 with a pace of 10:40, efficiently managing the race's early stages. As the elevation intensified, Olha adapted well. Despite the challenging high-altitude sections, she progressed from Barr Camp at 10250 feet to the forbidding heights of 13024 feet at "1.5 Miles To Go," maintaining composure through fluctuating split paces.
