Consistent Climb to the Finish Jameson Cook, age 29 from Avon, CO, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 3:19:36, ranking 114th out of 2049 participants. He maintained a steady pace, averaging 14:56 minutes per mile over the 13.36-mile course. His strategic pacing allowed him to gain ground throughout the race, ultimately improving his placement significantly from the start to the finish. Key highlights in Jameson’s performance included strong initial splits, such as Ruxton with a 7:08 pace and Hydro Street with a 9:21 pace. Although encountering more demanding conditions as he ascended, he managed challenging splits above 12000 feet, finishing with a 19:30 pace for the last mile.
