Consistent Performance in High Altitude Half Marathon Grace Mainwaring demonstrated remarkable pacing in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, finishing with an elapsed time of 3:58:12 over a challenging 13.36-mile course. She started strong at Ruxton with a pace of 8:08 min/mile, quickly improving her position from 937th at the start to 289th overall by Ruxton. Her pace slowed strategically as the altitude increased, maintaining a steady rhythm to finish 13th in her division. Throughout the race's notable elevation changes, from 6,303 feet at the start to the finish at over 14,000 feet, Grace showcased endurance and adaptability.
