At 65 years old, Todd ranked 12th in the O65-69 age division out of 2049 participants, highlighting his dedication despite challenging conditions. Todd's steady progress was observed throughout the race. Notably, he moved up from 21st place in his division at Hydro Street to 12th by the finish line, demonstrating his ability to maintain competitive pacing over substantial elevation gains. Examining Todd's pace, his splits show strategic adjustments, particularly during the steep climb after Barr Camp. His splits were notably consistent during the most challenging sections above tree line, handling the ascent from 10,819 feet at Bottomless Pit to 14,061 feet at the Finish.
