Robbie Keyser's Steady Climb: Consistent Improvement Over Challenging Elevation Robbie Keyser clocked an impressive improvement in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent half marathon with a total elapsed time of 4:05:02, an improvement over last year's time of 4:09:57. His pace averaged 18:20 min/mile over a 13.36-mile course, showing a solid reduction from his previous pace of 18:42 min/mile. Robbie’s performance placed him 10th in the O55-59 division, a four-place rise from last year's 14th, among a field of 2,049 participants overall. Robbie began the race strong with the first split at Ruxton showing an energetic 8:38 min/mile pace. His performance on segments like the "Top of W's" and "No Name Creek" reflected a maintained position, being 10th in his age division. Despite the slowing pace above the treeline, with a final segment logged at 25:54 min/mile, Robbie managed to improve his overall positioning during the "1.5 Miles To Go" segment where he reached 4th in division, highlighting his ability to tackle the toughest part of the ascent effectively.
