Consistent Improvement and Strong Finish Frederick Frillman showcased impressive improvements in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon, finishing with an elapsed time of 3:34:30. He demonstrated enhanced pacing strategies, achieving a consistent improvement in his overall elapsed pace of 16:03 min/mile compared to last year's 16:11 min/mile time. Notably, Frederick climbed to 6th in his division (O50-54) from 5th the previous year, indicating a performance enhancement despite increased participation of 2049 entrants, up from 1996. Frederick's strategic start was strong, moving from an initial placement of 927th at the start to 261st just after 0.43 miles. He maintained steady pacing through challenging sections at higher altitudes, indicating successful adaptation. At "2 Miles To Go," he achieved a division placement of 7th and then surged to 1st at "1.5 Miles To Go" before finishing 6th. Continuing to optimize pacing in these final miles will be key for future ascents.
