Consistent Progress with Strong Finish Haley Frank, 35, from Fort Worth, TX, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with an elapsed time of 5:20:58, covering a distance of 13.36 miles at an average pace of 24:01 min/mile. Haley placed 371st among female participants and 68th in her division (F35-39) out of 2049 total participants. Notable was her improvement in placement from her starting position (1543rd overall) to her finish position (1175th overall). Haley demonstrated a strong start with an initial split pace of 10:29 min/mile at Ruxton and showed consistent effort throughout the race despite increasingly challenging conditions. Her split times indicate her ability to manage the ascent effectively. In particular, her split from "No Name Creek" to "7.8 Summit" was more efficient at a split pace of 19:29 min/mile compared to the previous segment. Evaluation of pacing strategies may further enhance performance in steep, high-altitude segments in future events.
