Strong Finish with Steady Climb Jennifer Brooks achieved an impressive performance at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon, completing the demanding course in 4:38:10. She covered 13.36 miles with an average pace of 20:49 min/mile, placing 12th in her division (F50-54). Her overall position was 739 out of 2049 participants, and she finished 193rd in her gender category. Jennifer's race strategy showed resilience as she climbed from an elevation of 6303 feet to 14061 feet. Entering Ruxton with a strong pace of 10:40, she saw a consistent performance in reaching Hydro Street with a 12:28 pace. As expected, her pace naturally slowed, hitting 31:27 for the final stretch, indicative of the high altitude and fatigue challenges.
