Consistent, Steady Performance with Key Improvements Breaux Burns completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with an overall elapsed time of 3:36:54, covering 13.36 miles with an elapsed pace of 16:14 min/mile. Notably, Breaux improved on climbs, especially early in the race; the Ruxton split was completed at a swift 7:39 min/mile pace, ranking 171st overall at that moment. Breaux demonstrated strong effort through the middle stages, consistently maintaining a place between 158th and 177th overall from Bottomless Pit to the Finish. Compared to the 2024 performance, the overall time increased by approximately 14 minutes. Elevation factors could have influenced this, with the final mile splits, such as "2 Miles To Go" (21:30 min/mile) and "Finish" (25:07 min/mile), displaying a notable pacing decline as high altitude fatigue set in.
