Consistent Climb to Completion Above Tree Line Deborah Kiefer completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon in an elapsed time of 6:08:55. Despite intense elevation challenges, she maintained a steady pace throughout the 13.36-mile course, averaging 27:36 minutes per mile. Achieving 22nd in her F60-64 division demonstrates remarkable tenacity. She tackled the final push above the tree line, with split times showcasing her resilience, particularly between Bottomless Pit and the Finish, where she navigated over 3000 feet in elevation gain. Starting strong at Ruxton with an 11:08 pace, Deborah's performance remained commendable despite increasing altitude. As she reached A-Frame at elevation 11,933 feet, her pace adjusted appropriately, moving from faster splits at lower elevations to necessary conservation at higher altitudes.
