His average pace of 15:43 min/mile demonstrates improved efficiency across the half-marathon distance of 13.36 miles. Notably, he secured 6th place in his age division (45-49), out of 2049 participants, showcasing strong performance in his category. Attila's pacing was particularly notable in the early stages of the race, finding a steady rhythm with a split time of 3:21 at Ruxton with a swift 7:49 min/mile pace. Though his pace naturally became more conservative as the race progressed, especially after the 10-mile mark, he maintained a solid performance through challenging high-altitude terrain, which peaked at over 14,000 feet.
