Consistent Climb with Opportunities to Refine Pacing Michael Haubert completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon in 3:33:01, clocking an average pace of 15:56 min/mile over a distance of 13.36 miles. He placed 14th in his division for ages 40-44, a respectable improvement from his previous year's 15th place finish, despite a slight increase in overall elapsed time. Analyzing the race splits, Michael started strong, clocking an impressive pace of 8:00 min/mile to Ruxton. However, the final stretch showed considerable pace reductions, particularly after passing the A-Frame, where split paces ranged from 19:54 to 22:03 min/mile.
