Significant Improvement with Faster Ascent Lindsey Blasi, a 37-year-old runner from Colorado Springs, improved her performance significantly at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with a finishing time of 4:43:45. This marks a notable improvement from her previous year’s time of 5:03:50. Her average pace decreased to 21:14 min/mile from 22:44 min/mile, demonstrating her enhanced endurance and pace management, especially given the increasing elevation challenges. Her performance at key splits was impressive. At the start, she was placed 529 overall but demonstrated steady progress, rising to 457 by "1.5 Miles To Go," a noteworthy effort near the highest elevations. Her consistent splits in the final challenging three miles demonstrate a solid grasp of pacing in high-altitude conditions. Continuing to build on these advancements by focusing on further refinements in pacing during lower elevations could help capitalize on her strengths and boost further progress.
