Consistent Pace Despite Increasing Elevation Rebekah Krause completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent in 5 hours, 12 minutes, and 25 seconds. Covering 13.36 miles, she maintained an average pace of 23:23 per mile. Notably, she improved her position gradually, moving from 1297th at the start to 1098th by the finish. At "Ruxton", early in the race, Rebekah made significant gains by accelerating to a pace of 9:21 per mile. Throughout the race, she stayed within steady pacing, especially noticeable between "7.8 Summit" and "Barr Camp" with a quicker pace of 15:27. The most challenging section was between "Bottomless Pit" and "A-Frame," where her pace slowed to 30:13 per mile due to the elevation increase from 10,819 to 11,933 feet. With these challenging conditions, focusing on split improvement, particularly during high-altitude sections, could enhance future performances. Her overall effort placed her 337th among female runners and 51st in her division of 30 to 34-year-olds.
