Steady Ascent with Strong Mid-Race Performance Lisa Stamos completed the 13.36-mile Pikes Peak Ascent with an elapsed time of 6:06:55, maintaining an average pace of 27:27 min/mile. Starting at an elevation of 6303 feet and finishing at 14061 feet, she effectively navigated the significant altitude gain. Notably, Lisa made considerable progress early and midway, with impressive pace at Hydro Street clocking in at 13:10 min/mile. Her performance at the 7.8 Summit was also noteworthy, achieving a pace of 21:30 min/mile despite a challenging mid-section. Lisa's pacing showed variations in the final miles as she approached high altitude, with slower splits, such as a 52:34 min/mile pace at A-Frame. Her finishing position was 1488th overall among a total of 2049 participants, placing 533rd in her gender and 87th in her division. Continuing to tackle the high altitudes could further benefit her future performances, especially in the last three segments of the ascent.
