Consistent Pace and Strong Finish at Pikes Peak Ascent Bryan Frank completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 5:21:03 over a distance of 13.36 miles. His overall placing was 1176 out of 2049 participants. His initial performance at the Ruxton checkpoint was solid, with a split pace of 10:57. As expected, pace slowed due to the increasing elevation, finishing with an elapsed pace of 24:01 min/mile. Notably, Bryan's ranking dramatically improved mid-race at the "1.5 Miles To Go" point, jumping to 650th overall, suggesting a strong push as he neared the summit. Although pace variation occurred, with a peak split pace of 37:36 at "Bottomless Pit," his ability to finish stronger at higher altitudes is commendable. Focusing on maintaining a steadier pace in the final miles typically results in a more consistent overall performance. Great job on conquering Pikes Peak and showing strong endurance!
