Significant Progress Marked by Improved Pace and Consistency Calley Mannion participated in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon, completing the race with a time of 4:22:23, an improvement from her previous race's time of 4:52:24. Her average pace of 19:38 min/mile was notably faster than her 21:53 min/mile pace in the 2024 ascent. She placed 18th in the F25-29 division and secured overall place 571 out of 2049 participants, showcasing her ability to move up in her age group and gender categories significantly compared to last year. Calley's splits reflect a persistent effort throughout the course, maintaining mid-race steady pacing despite the increasing difficulty as altitude increased. Highlights include maintaining a consistent pace around 17:36-18:51 min/mile up to the Barr Camp checkpoint, before naturally slowing in the last few miles. Focusing on optimizing pace management in high-altitude sections, particularly from "2 Miles To Go" onwards, could further enhance her performance in future races.
