Consistent Pacing with Strategic Splits Cristian Barrientos, representing Ontario, Wisconsin, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an impressive Elapsed Time of 3:35:31, finishing 13.36 miles. Despite the challenging elevation gain, Cristian maintained a consistent Elapsed Pace of 16:07 min/mile. At 23rd in the O20-24 division, he displayed noteworthy endurance throughout the event. Starting strong, Cristian improved placement significantly within the initial stages, moving from his starting division placement of 43 to 22 at Hydro Street. Cristian handled the steep, high-altitude segments well, though a notable pace change occurred after reaching the tree line at Barr Camp.
