Consistent Effort through Challenging Climb Paul Czosnowski completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with an elapsed time of 6:08:10, covering the 13.36-mile course at an average pace of 27:33 per mile. Starting at an elevation of 6,303 feet, Paul finished at 14,061 feet, demonstrating solid perseverance over challenging terrain. Notably, his performance from the start to Ruxton was swift with a pace of 10:31 per mile, capturing placements of 1207 overall and 82 in his division. Throughout the race, adjustments to increasing elevation were evident, notably after Barr Camp where his pace slowed to 49:02 per mile by Bottomless Pit. Despite facing these demands, Paul maintained a competitive stride, best reflected in his improvement to a split pace of 21:29 at the 7.8 Summit. Paul secured 94th place in his division for ages 50-54. Continued focus on pacing strategies can yield efficiency gains in future races, especially in the race's final high-altitude miles.
