Significant Improvement on Pikes Peak Ascent Zachary Waugh delivered a commendable performance in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, completing the 13.36-mile course with an elapsed time of 4:43:15, significantly improving from the previous year's time of 5:27:41. His overall position saw an impressive jump to the 800th spot from 1126th in 2024. Zachary notably maintained a consistent place in his division throughout the race, finishing 60th in the O25-29 category. The race splits show notable consistency, especially during the mid-sections where Zachary maintained a competitive pace. Key splits include an 18:19 min/mile from "Top of W's" to "No Name Creek" and 26:25 min/mile from "A-Frame" to "2.5 Miles to Go," both contributing to his overall improved time.
