Christopher's Steady Ascent with Remarkable Improvement Christopher Tupps completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with a significant time improvement, finishing in 5:24:18, over 20 minutes faster than his previous effort in 2024 (5:44:54). His overall pace was 24:16 min/mile compared to the 25:48 min/mile last year. The impressive reduction in elapsed time and pace indicates consistent progress and determination. Starting strong, Christopher made his way from the initial elevation of 6303 feet, reaching the No Name Creek at 8734 feet in 1:20:59. Particularly noticeable is his performance over the last 0.9 miles to "1 Mile To Go," climbing to an elevation of 13,330 feet with a split pace of 31:51. Although the final ascent saw a slowing down with a 39:20 min/mile pace, this is expected at such altitudes. Continuing to build on the positive strides made this year will be key for future performances.
