Strong Performance at Altitude Suzanne Crespo delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon, finishing with an elapsed time of 3:30:45. Maintaining a consistent and impressive overall place of 164 out of 2049 participants, Suzanne showed remarkable endurance. She secured the 4th spot in her division (F35-39) and was 33rd among female participants, demonstrating her competitiveness over the daunting 13.36-mile course. The impact of high altitude is visible in her splits, with a strong start from Ruxton at an impressive 8:27 min/mile pace. As she climbed higher, her pace naturally adjusted to the increasing elevation. Despite this, Suzanne maintained a commendable position, moving from 88th in her gender at Ruxton to 27th by the 0.5 Miles To Go mark. With the final push to 14,061 feet elevation, her strategic pacing and stamina were evident, rounding off with a 21:15 min/mile pace as she crossed the finish line.
